
Kris Dumas is the creator of Mr. Gumball, Mr. Gumball’s Busy Mind, and the Turn the Heart Handle™ practice, a playful approach to helping children and adults relate to thoughts, emotions, and inner calm. He is a graduate of Flagler College and the Meditation University’s Meditation Master Class and is developing these tools in partnership with educators through emerging school pilot programs.
With more than 20 years of experience in real estate and mortgage lending, Kris also brings a practical understanding of people, communication, and life transitions into his work supporting families and communities.
Kris is founder of the Conscious Soul Foundation, a 501(c)(3) nonprofit based in Myrtle Beach, created to support personal well-being and community connection through mindfulness, meditation, music, educational workshops, and inclusive gatherings, including a free family-friendly biannual music and arts festival.
He is also co-founder of Reverence Men’s Group, a brotherhood devoted to authentic connection, personal growth, accountability, and spiritual grounding through shared practice and honest conversation, and founder of The Fire with Zen, a project dedicated to sharing the transformative and environmental healing practice of Agnihotra.
Kris is a father, boater, surfer, avid music lover, and lifelong student.
